Tasting Notes For Frog's Leap Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc 2020

After nearly three decades of providing fantastic grapes, our Galleron vineyard in Rutherford—a major source of our Sauvignon Blanc grapes—is showing signs of wear and tear, and is ready for a refresh. As we replant and update Galleron, we’ve reached out to some of the growers who helped build the reputation of Frog’s Leap Sauvignon Blanc in the early days, and have started to source fruit from them again. As the work progresses at Galleron, you’ll note that the wine carries the Napa Valley appellation.

The 2020 Sauvignon Blanc is lovely, with stone fruit, crisp green apple, and wonderfully bright mineral flavors. This is Frog’s Leap Sauvignon Blanc in all its glory. Bottled for the first time with a twist-off cap to protect the integrity of its aromas, it is now easier than ever to enjoy this wine with a roasted tomato and goat cheese tart.
